Great idea this discussion board!! I must admit, I've been a NT "live my life by" kind of person. However,Allan, you have brought the OT back to life again for me. I find myself reading way beyond the reference on Sunday morning. These Bible stories I learned as a kid are coming to life. I'm challenged to seriously work on my personal experience with God and relationships with others Thanks for taking a leap of faith by asking all of us to carry our Bibles and delve into God's word.

What I have enjoyed the most throughout this series is that people seem to be simply interested in the story. It's OUR story and we want to know it!

Gotta say that I think it's been incredible looking at scripture through a historical perspective. Learning more about the relationship that God had with those before me has brought much perspective on my relationship with God now.

I tried and dumped Twitter after Allan's series; I'm hanging onto Facebook by a thread; wonder if I'll remember to monitor this site. It interests me significantly more than knowing my friend is back from walking the dog.
